Scaifes with Spindle (for diamonds)

1.) Cast-Iron Scaifes (Skives).

• Standard cast-iron scaifes has on outside diameter of 310 mm or 330 mm and are
  made with spindle and flat pulley or flat (i.e. without spindle).
• The parallellity: +/- 0,005 mm.
• Scaifes completely ready for polishing (i.e. scoured and balanced): at moreprice.
• Minimal quantity: 10 pcs./Model. / Made in Belgium.

2.) Diamond Impregnated Scaifes (Skives).

• The diamond impregnated polishing scaife is especially recommended for the
  polishing of hard Australian mekeables.
• - Advantages: fast cutting, better resistance, longer lasting.
• Standard diamond impregnated scaifes have an outside diameter of 310 mm and
  are made with spindle and flat pulley or flat (i.e. without spindle).
• Cast-iron smoothing ring next to the diamond impregnated layer: at moreprice.
• Width of diamond layer: 30, 35 or 40 mm (and 80 mm for Ø 330 mm).
• Grain-size of diamond powder:
• “M” (Medium grain): for all kind of work, top and bottom, general use.
• “B” (Big grain): for larger stones, top work, gives a very fast cut for stars, etc.
  after working-in the scaife properly.
• “UF” (Ultra Fine) or “FF” (Fine) or “VB” (Very Coarse).
• All diamond impregnated scaifes are made completely ready for polishing.
• Minimal quantity: 10 pcs./Model. / Made in Belgium.

3.) “Super-Cut” Diamond Impregnated Scaifes (with spindle, Ø 310 mm).

• If the abovementionend scaifes might be too hard for your application, we can also
  offer you new type of special “SUPER-CUT” scaifes for sawing goods.
• Advantages: Easy cutting, better smoothing.
• Width of diamond layer: 30 and 35 mm.

4.) Double Layered Diamond Impregnated Scaifes
(Flat Type and With Spindle, Ø 310 mm)

• This scaife has two layers of 30 mm seamless next to each other, without any iron
  or other material between.
• Generally: “M” (Medium grain) or “B” (Big grain) - up to our customer wish.
• Advantage: Bruting and smoothing can be done on the same scaife.
