Perfection for the balancing of diamond polishing scaifes. The advantage is obvious: unbalance measurement and correction (by means of drilling) without re-clamping - with one machine, within approx. 1 minute per scaife (skive).
General description.
The pneumatic clamping elements, for the fixing of the polishing scaife, are mounted directly on the precision-spindle. The permanent calibration renders calibration runs superfluous, and due to the clear, easily understood displays, no laborious converting procedures are required. Even the correction of the unbalance may be integrated into the vertical balancing machine, which saves time and thus costs.
The mass correction system makes work much easier and additionally, provides for a significant improvement in quality. The polishing scaife is loaded into the machine only once. Directly after the measuring run, it is manually corrected – without re-clamping. A quick and cost effective method of balancing which comes up to the highest balancing quality standards. This is what the vertical balancing machine equipped with a drilling (mass correction) module offers you.
The balancing procedure is assisted by the measuring unit. The instrumentation displays the exact “actual drill depth” and the remaining “residual depth” of the drill, which makes unbalance correction simple and unproblematic. Thus, in many cases the scaife will be “in tolerance” after the first correction step. The advantages are consistent quality, since the sources of error are eliminated, and high availability due to the simple handling.
Technical data of balancing machines:
- Rotor (scaife) mass including tooling: max. 50 kg (diameter: max. 610 mm).
- Height above spindle fange: 305 mm. Drive power: 2,2 kW at 1.450 rpm.
- Balancing speed: approx. 120 – 1.200 rpm. Installed thermal overload protection.
- Start-stop time: 5 sec.
- Measuring uncertainty is: 4 – 10 gmm. These values are speed dependent, and are
based on a balancing speed of 1.200 rpm. - Frequency converter for variable speed (120 – 1.200 rpm.)
- Electrical design: 3 phase, 400 V, 50/60 Hz. Control voltage: 115 V.
- Other voltages / frequencies: upon request.
- Air pressure connection: 5 – 6 bar.
